Actor OH Jiho and Soy will be hosting Awards Ceremony of the 16th Jeonju International Film Festival!

- Awards Ceremony will begin from 6:00pm on May 6

- Announcing winners of ‘International Competition’, ‘Korean Competition’ and ‘Korean Competition For Shorts’

Actor OH Jiho and Soy have been appointed as hosts of Awards Ceremony of the 16th Jeonju International Film Festival (Jeonju IFF) which will be held at Jeonju Sports Stadium on Wednesday, May 6. The two hosts, OH Jiho and Soy each starred at Island(PARK Jinseong) of ‘Korean Competition’ and Like a French Film(SHIN Younshick), Outdoor Screening Film at Awards Ceremony.

Soy also had relationship with Jeonju IFF last year, through The Avian Kind(SHIN Younshick) from ‘Jeonju Digital Project 2014.’ OH Jiho played the main character who visits the beautiful island and faces secretive past in Island, one of 10 nominees competing for main awards in ‘Korean Competition’ at Awards Ceremony.

At Awards Ceremony which starts from Red Carpet Ceremony at 6:00pm on May 6, award-winning films from competition sections such as ‘International Competition’, ‘Korean Competition’, and ‘Korean Competition For Shorts’ as well as ‘NETPAC Prize’ winning film from ‘Korea Cinemascape’ will be announced. Directors and actors from nominated films of main competition sections, and juries for each prize will attend the event. After announcing awardees, the last outdoor screening film, Like a French Film will be screened. 2,000 free tickets for Awards Ceremony and Like a French Film will be distributed at Ticket Offices of Jeonju Square and Jeonju Lounge from 9:00am on Awards Day, with maximum 2 per person, by order of arrival. Following Awards Day, the 16th Jeonju IFF will continue to May 9, with screenings of award-winning films and hottest titles.
